We purchased a completely run down property with the intention to renovate the front half (keeping as much of the original character as possible), knock down the 1950’s fibro extension and rebuild a new modern extension. The floors/walls and ceilings were all in a terrible state of damp/mould/broken plaster/cave in or all of the above. We gave our scope of work to 6 builders and design/build firms – half of them wouldn’t touch it, two of them quoted us an absolute fortune, and Tailored Homes came back with alternatives and solutions so we could build to the quality we were asking for while staying within our budget.  If we build again we will definitely be coming back to Tailored Homes as our preferred builder.

We had an extension completed with Tailored Homes. It included a living area, kitchen, dining, laundry, bedroom and ensuite as well as a covered deck. It more than doubled the size of the house. Right from the start, Moustafa and then Mo made us feel listened to. They were quick with their quote, which was reasonable in value and they were responsive to our concerns and questions. Mo project managed the build. The final build is better than we could have imagined. It is a stylish, light filled space that we are very happy with. We’ve had a few visitors to our house since its completion who have been impressed by the quality of the finishes and how inviting the space is, and everyone has asked who the builder was.
